We’re a pair of friends brought together through our work in conservation. Although we come from completely different backgrounds, we’re united by a shared passion for British wildlife and the countryside we call home.
Habi-Box was born from the belief that everyone can play a part in helping nature thrive. Whether you live in a flat or a farmhouse, have a sprawling garden or just a windowsill, there’s always something you can do to support the birds, hedgehogs, and pollinators around you. The more people who take action, no matter how small, the greater the impact we can make together.
Our habitat boxes are based on tried-and-tested designs that we’ve used ourselves, so we know they work. From predator damage to tricky placements, we’ve encountered the challenges first-hand and have developed and refined our boxes to give birds, hedgehogs, and other wildlife the best chance of successful use.

We’re currently trialling a new nest box design for robins and wrens. Using the latest understanding of their nesting habits, we’re building and testing a range of options to see what works best. By monitoring success rates, we’ll refine a final design you’ll be able to buy – a reliable nesting box for the wrens and robins in your life.

I have worked in conservation and countryside education for a number of years now. I am increasingly concerned at the constant reduction in our birds and wildlife in this country. Not enough is being done and I hope to be able to help through Habi-Box. Supplying good quality, habitat boxes made from sustainable materials and helping to educate the general public on best practice when helping our wildlife, will raise awareness and help to generate a bigger impact. Before retraining to work in conservation, I worked in road transport and because of my specialist knowledge in this area I am responsible for ensuring all orders are sent on time and delivered to you in the same condition it left our workshop. I've been in the construction industry for most of my working life and I've witnessed the constant destruction of wildlife habitation as a result of building projects, especially housing developments. So, having moved into conservation, it seemed a perfect idea to team up with my friends, Amy and Susannah, and create Habi-Box! Making habitat boxes to give space back to nature, however small, is extremely rewarding and l hope that we can encourage many others to help us with this cause.
